Prohibited Marketing Practices • Promoting PeopleFinders via spyware, adware, malware, or downloadable applications. • Marketing or advertising PeopleFinders services through deceptive advertising methods. • Using misleading advertising or messaging. • Using misleading copy, visuals, or tools to mislead users (e.g., bait-and-switch tactics). • Using misleading terms like: • Birth date, birthday, or DOB (you may use “Age”). • Social Security Number (SSN). • Spy/Lookup Tools or GPS claims (e.g., “find the exact current location of a phone”). • Promoting PeopleFinders on offer aggregator sites (e.g., OfferVault). FCRA Compliance & Prohibited Use Cases PeopleFinders is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). • Employment screening or decisions. • Tenant screening or lease decisions. • Screening household workers (e.g., nannies, domestic helpers). • Screening for professional services (e.g., doctors). • Credit, mortgage, or insurance decisions. • Screening for scholarships, financial aid, or education programs. Summary: PeopleFinders may not be used for any decision-making purpose related to employment, housing, credit, insurance, or similar assessments.
